Aisling is a well-known Irish comedian that has been in the business for some time. Born in Kildare, Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. The comedian has appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling CliodhnadhSullivan (born 16 March 1984) is also known as Aisling bea, is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Following appearances in bits in a variety of Irish and British television series from 2009 Bea started her career as a stand-up comedian in 2011. The comedian began to appear frequently on sketch comedy shows and sitcoms in 2012. After winning an award during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she was a frequent guest. In 2016, and in 2017, she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. Also, she is a contestant of 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born to Brian O'Sullivan, she was blessed with one sibling named Sinead. She was the winner of the So You think You're Funny Award twice. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. The father of her Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died when Bea was only three years old. She did not know how he died until she turned 13 years old. She chose the stage name Bea to honor her deceased father. She also wrote a 2017 article in The Guardian on her family's death experience. Bea's mom Helen was also a trainer for jockeys as well as a former professional jockey was responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. Her family were horse and race meeting obsessed. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea realized at an early age that the race industry wasn't for her.
